OUMOS 5 year Warranty

OUMOS Taiwan offers a five-year warranty. All products undergoes rigorous inspection before despatch and provides comprehensive after-sales service. During the warranty period, the original purchase receipt and the warranty card (which was accompanied by the luggage, shown below) is required to determine warranty applicability. Detachable parts can be repaired and advanced, including wheels, handles, telescoping handles, locks, waterproof strips, and maintenance within the warranty would only costs NTD500 for the service fee. This warranty does not cover the following, such as luggage case, aluminum frame, inner lining, staps, compartment plate, accessories and damage caused by improper use of the product. In case of damage caused by improper handling of the airline’s consignment, please be sure to file a claim with the airline before leaving the airport. This warranty is limited to Taiwan. If overseas customers need to repair, shipping costs need to be considered in the repair process. REPAIR METHODS

Please contact us at 02-2706-1900 in advance to verify your repair-desired part of the luggage case. You can send it back in person or by delivery service.

You can either send the product to No.14, Ln. 22, Sec. 1, Xinren Rd., Taiping Dist., Taichung City 41143, Taiwan (R.O.C.) and leave your name and contact number, or deliver the item on your own to the following OUMOS-Traveler Station collaborated counters that offer repairment-and collect service. There are 15 counters in total that provide this service.

◎ General repair requires 10-18 business days (weekends or not included). Please take out your personal belongings from the product before sending it for repair. We appreciate your corporation since our company is not held responsible for safekeeping and protecting your personal belongings from damages. Should there is a shortage of the replacement parts, we will notify you of the delayed repair schedule. Please be patient. When there happen to find, in some exceptional cases, certain parts are discontinued or such, we will use other OEM replacement parts to conduct the repair. (The repaired part will be in a proper function, except for a difference in the appearance.)

◎ Conditions not covered: Inappropriate usage or man-caused damages, damages due to extreme temperature or chemicals, knock-offs or non-OUMOS brands, or unauthorized product modifications or repairments. Abrasions, scratches, and nicks resulting from usage, broken and fallen slider body, worn-out or cracks on the luggage shell identified by cutting or throwing the product, causing it beyond repair. Replacement demand of a defectless item, or request of cleaning service. (Our warranty service does not extend to these mentioned above.)

◎ Charges: $500/time repairment fee under warranty. Cash payment is expected when you deliver the product personally. Owing to the complicated process of the luggage shell repairment, there will be an extra $1000 charge after it is confirmed repairable. In case a product requires delivery service for its repairment, the cost is covered by the customer. Out-of-warranty products will be charged additional component fee. The customer service staff will inform you the actual expense.
